A number of organisations in New Zealand work in the area of minimising gambling harm. For further information click on the links below:

The Gambling Helpline is a national freephone service providing support, referral and information for people affected by or concerned about gambling.

The Problem Gambling Foundation and The Salvation Army Oasis Centres both provide information and free face to face support for people affected by their own or someone else’s gambling.

 The Ministry of Health funds and coordinates problem gambling services.

The Department of Internal Affairs regulates and monitors gambling.

The Gambling and Addictions Research Centre at Auckland University of Technology conducts research that improves New Zealanders' understanding of how gambling affects society and enhances gambling policy and professional practice.
